H & D MCC

To members of HDMCC past and present and the motorcycling community in general.

You may remember last year we held a very successful fund raising event for the little Hull born lad Harley Norfolk who suffered from a rare brain disorder.

Sadly Harley died this week just one month short of his 2nd birthday.

As most of us are parents ourselves we can only imagine the pain and suffering this young couple Jodi and Mike Norfolk are going through at the loss of there first and only child. Harley's funeral is to be held on Friday 8th October and Jodi and Mike have asked if we could show our support one more time for them and Harley by escorting Harley on your motorcycle on his final journey. I know this will be difficult for many of us, nobody likes attending funerals especially that of a child, I know work commitments can mean its difficult to get time off or if you are hourly paid, to loose a few hours money during these hard times can make for an even more difficult week but your support in attending would mean so much to these young parents as a show of unity that only the motorcycle community could deliver.

If you can attend please text me YES on 07932780087 and be in the car park of the Ennerdale leisure centre 11.00am prompt. We will follow from there home address off Ennerdale rd. to the Zion church in Cottingham and then to Northern cemetery. The family have also asked if you could wear or put on your motorcycle a small yellow ribbon which are the colours of the Alexandra disease foundation.

Thank you for your support you will make such a difference, thank you.
